Annika Frederickson, DVM

Dr. Frederickson graduated from the VA MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She was able to concentrate mostly on equine medicine in vet school.  She is most passionate about equine dentistry, but also enjoys ophthalmology and general preventive medicine. Growing up she found any way she could to ride and take care of horses:  earning riding lessons by working at a neighborhood farm and volunteering for therapeutic riding centers.

Today she enjoys trail riding on her 23 year old Belgian-Standardbred cross, sometimes with her three children and their ponies:  Tinkerbell and Emmy. She lives at a small farm with her husband, those three children along with 2 dogs, one elderly cat, and 11 chickens.

Tyra Crowley, VMD

Dr. Crowley graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 with a concentration in equine medicine and surgery. Her veterinary interests involve equine sports medicine and include lameness evaluations, intra-articular medications, supportive therapies, radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, and prepurchase evaluations. Dr. Crowley has many years of experience in the disciplines of Hunters, Jumpers, Dressage, Foxhunters, and Racing (TBs and STBs).

Tyra is local to Chester County, growing up on Stillmeadow Farm in Malvern. She showed Pony Hunters successfully in her youth and attended Lafayette College (Easton, PA) for her BS in Biology where she competed on the school’s IHSA team and qualified for IHSA Nationals. While in vet school, Tyra enjoyed training OTTBs for new hunter careers. She now enjoys being a part of her daughters’, Norah (17) and Maeve (14), equestrian success. Tyra, her husband Joe, and their daughters live in West Chester, PA along with Ginger, their adorable Norwich terrier who is often along for a ride in the vet truck.

Rocky Guidas

Rocky grew up in King of Prussia.  Many of her relatives lived in southern Chester County and encouraged her passion for horses.  Rocky did not have the financial opportunity to own a horse early in life.  As a result, Rocky catch-rode beyond the typical hunter-jumper discipline popular in the area.  Barrel racing, foxhunting, polo and thoroughbred racing expanded her equestrian experience.  She has competed in barrel racing, hunters, showjumping, and evented.  In 1991, Rocky graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science.  Prior to working within the veterinary field, Rocky managed the daily care of up to 60 horses.  The over-exuberant canine greeter in the office is her Husky-lab mix, Dylan.

Jerusha has been working with horses from childhood. She graduated from Houghton College  2011 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. After graduation she worked as a therapeutic riding instructor, barn manager, and professional groom for several years, including running her own boarding/lesson program from home. During that time she began working as a lab technician for an equine veterinarian and moved on to working as a part time technician and office administrator. She also has experience as a small animal technician. She now lives in Honeybrook with her dog Sadie and stables two horses at Stillmeadow’s office location.

Leslie Post

Leslie graduated from Harcum College as a Veterinary Technician after showing hunters successfully for many years in Chester County.  Previously Leslie was employed at the University of Pennsylvania New Bolton Center as a veterinary nurse from 1996-2003. She has worked with Dr. Tyra Crowley  since 1998. Today Leslie is licensed as an official of the USEF. She is married with two grown children. She also has one dog and one “grand dog”. She lives in Wayne, PA and enjoys live music and horse shows.  She is happy to be included in the Stillmeadow Equine Team!
